'Yes' to two days off!

For Pete's sake people! If you have a locked diary, do not submit a damn banner! There's nothing more annoying than a damn pop-up telling me to enter a password to view a diary I haven't even visited!

I signed up for a free two-week trial on gay.com. I liked it, but realized I was spending FAR too much time on it. That's fine for some people, but I actually spent three hours searching through profiles for -- I'm not even sure what I was searching for. Just browsing, I suppose. Anyway, too much time on that, and too little sleep. So I decided to cancel.

Free Two-Week Trial. I entered the promo code correctly and everything, and they fucking BILLED me.

And now explain this to me: It's a free two week trial, but even if they do everything 'by the book', they still charge you after one week. HUH?

I called customer service a few minutes ago, however; and I suppose I was expecting a hassle. Nope. They refunded my money and I promptly cancelled my account.

So anyway, no more of that.

Oh, and thanks to kstyle for helping me out with 'getting a feel' for the place. Guess it wasn't for me after all. Ah well.

Work was great. I managed to land this Sunday off for Tammy's cookout. Yay! Not only that, but my boss saw to it that I landed two days in a row off again! Yay again!

Tomorrow, I'm expecting the latest John Waters flick, "A Dirty Shame" in the mail, courtesy of Netflix. Nelson and I missed this one in theaters, since it was playing only in select theaters due to an NC-17 MPAA rating. And on Monday: "Seed of Chucky", which I already saw -- but the quality stunk.

...And that's all I'm sayin'. ;-)
