Cactus

I noticed a few days ago, an unpotted cactus plant behind the storage shed out back of the apartment building. It occured to me that it must have belonged to Maria -- my ex-friend/the woman who robbed us and my neighbors on either side of where we live.

The thing was still thriving, so I brought it inside today, and transferred it into a flower pot with some unscented kitty litter (until I can get the proper soil) It now sits in the corner of our living room. A little testament to Maria, in a way.

It is rather dry, not pleasant to look at, and a nuisance.

And a prick.
